Puzzling

Leave the spaghetti noodles at home, because I brought puzzles!  Last week, my undergraduate students explored building structures using recycled puzzle pieces (cardboard) and glue.  Either white glue or hot melt.  Or no glue at all, in some cases.  Here are some of their creations...

Some of these are more successful visually than they are structurally, meaning a few can hardly withstand a light gust from the air conditioning vent...  Others clearly prioritize an almost painterly use of color over all other considerations.  But I think ALL my students have something to learn from each other.  And as early Foundations exercises go, this establishes a good baseline upon which to improve!
